Intercon Associates Wins VETS Government-Wide Acquisition Contract

Rochester, NY – Jan. 2, 2007 - Intercon Associates, a veteran-owned small business is part of the team that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded a prime contract to in both functional areas (systems operation & maintenance and information systems engineering) of the Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

This five-year $5 billion contract will be the major vehicle for implementing Public Law 108-80 that establishes a goal of three percent of the value of all federal procurements for SDVOSBs and the President’s Executive Order 13360, Contracting with Service-Disabled Veterans Businesses. 

The VETS GWAC is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (MA/IDIQ) contract designed to provide worldwide information technology solutions to federal agencies while strengthening opportunities in federal contracting for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.

The VETS GWAC is being procured through the GSA Small Business GWAC Center.
